WATCH: Speeding car crashes into barber shop

In a bizarre road accident, a speedy car crashed into a barber shop, the incident was caught on CCTV camera.

Usually, people feel safe when they are at home, in movie theatres, malls or saloons, but a recent video showed that accidents can take anywhere anyplace.

The incident captured by the CCTV camera placed inside the salon shows five men, two are getting a haircut and a shave while one man is sitting on a bench.

All the men start looking toward the entrance as if they heard something and are startled. The two customers get up quickly while the man on the bench tries to cross over to the other side. But before they could get out of trouble’s way, a big heavy white car smashes its way inside the salon at a very high speed.

The man on the bench was hit badly and others were hit too and left shell-shocked in the crash.

Pakistan plans to transform optical fiber cable network into global digital gateway

ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Dr Umar Saif on Wednesday said that the government had finalized a plan to transform Pakistan’s optical fiber cable network into a global digital gateway. The implementation of the proposed project would benefit Pakistan by millions of dollars, he disclosed while speaking in a high-level meeting. The meeting was attended by representatives of key organizations, including the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), Special Communication Organization, Pakistan Telecommunication Company Ltd (PTCL), TransWorld, and CyberNet. He said that all the necessary resources and facilities had been provided for the digital gateway initiative. Progress made on Pakistan-Iran gas pipeline project

ISLAMABAD: Progress was made on Pakistan and Iran gas pipeline project as both countries agreed on reviving the stalled cooperation and formal contacts will be started within a few weeks. It is pertinent to mention here that Iran gave Pakistan time until September 2024 to complete the project, otherwise, it may move to international arbitration for the breach of contract. Senator Muhammad Abdul Qadir, the Chairman of the Senate’s Standing Committee on Petroleum said that both sides will start formal contacts for the gas pipeline project within two to three weeks. The Pakistan-Iran gas pipeline project has faced many delays due to the risk of US sanctions on Iran. The project remains substantially delayed. While the Iranian section of the pipeline has been completed, the Pakistani section remains under construction and subject to delays owing to concerns with regard to the US sanctions on Iran.
