A school trip turned disastrous after a schoolboy drowned in front of his distraught classmates at a tourist spot. The tragic incident occurred at a tourist spot in United Kingdom’s (UK) Sussex when the 17-year-old boy got into trouble while swimming near the shores during a school trip to West Wittering, a UK media outlet reported. Social media users were left stunned after a video went viral showing a car hitting everything coming its way as it drove for several kilometers on a busy road. The incident occurred in Patiala city of India when a teen driver, accompanied by other young men, drove for kilometers hitting cars, kiosks and anything that came in their way, an Indian media outlet reported. SIC chief softens tone on alliance with JUI-F’s Fazlur Rehman

FAISALABAD: Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) chief Sahibzada Hamid Raza on Tuesday said he was willing to ‘sit together’ with JUI-F chief Fazlur Rehman and joining hands against the government, ARY News reported. In a statement, the SIC lawmaker stated that he is willing to ‘sit together’ with Fazlur Rehman due to PTI founder Imran Khan’s stance. However, he added, the decision to form a political alliance with JUI-F will be made by Pakhtunkhwa Mili Awami Party (PMAP) Mahmood Khan Achakzai. It is pertinent to mention here that SIC chief Hamid Raza had previously stated that an alliance with JUI-F was not possible. OGRA notify gas price adjustment

ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Monday issued a new notification regarding gas prices, specifying that the rates for domestic consumers will remain unchanged, ARY News reported. The notification stated that the gas price for captive power plants has been increased by Rs 250 per mmbtu, setting the new rate at Rs 3,000 per mmbtu with immediate effect. According to OGRA, gas prices for sectors such as fertilizer factories, ice factories, and the cement industry will remain stable. The notification also clarified that gas prices for public and private power plants will stay the same.
