Apple fixes iPhone camera issues, permission bugs

Apple has released the first major update of the new iOS 16 ahead of schedule as the company announced to fix the camera shaking issues and copy and paste permissions-related bugs. The company had confirmed earlier in the week that an iOS 16 update next week, without mentioning the exact launch date, will fix permission bugs, camera shaking issues and other bugs. Camera shake issue It was reported earlier that the camera shake when recording video in a number of third-party apps, including TikTok, Snapchat and Instagram, according to TechCrunch. The iOS 16 users got surprised after finding an update arriving late on Thursday afternoon which addressed the issue of the iPhone camera, which “may vibrate and cause blurry photos when shooting with some third-party apps on iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.” Apple did not give any details about the reason for camera shake issues which appears to be a software issue only and it is being fixed through an iOS update. US to develop drones with India

The United States and India will co-develop drones, a senior Pentagon official said Thursday, as Washington seeks closer ties with Delhi as a way of countering China. India will build these aircraft and export them to other countries in its region, this official said. Delhi wants to diversify its weaponry, which is mainly Russian-made, and also to develop its own defense industry. “And we want to support India on both fronts and are doing so,” Eli Ratner, assistant secretary of defense for Indo-Pacific security affairs, told a group of reporters and defense experts. “In practical terms, that means that we’re going to be working closely with India on co-producing and co-developing capabilities that will support India’s own defense modernization goals,” Ratner said. At least 34 dead after migrant boat sinks off Syria

At least 34 migrants died when the boat they were travelling in sank off Syria’s coast after departing from neighbouring Lebanon, the government in Damascus said on Thursday. Lebanon, a country which hosts more than a million refugees from Syria’s civil war, has been mired in economic crisis for the past three years, prompting a rise in clandestine attempts to leave for the European Union. “The number of people found dead has risen to 34,” Syria’s health ministry said in a statement, adding that 20 survivors were being treated in Basel hospital in Tartus. Syrian authorities initially reported 15 dead, before revising that figure to 28 and, shortly afterwards, revising up by a further six.
