The rumours of Bollywood actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan refusing to come on The Kapil Sharma Show because of Salman Khan is making rounds.

It is pertinent to mention that the celebrities, who worked together in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, were one of the most talked-about Bollywood couples. They later parted ways.

The Devdas star claimed of enduring the Jai Ho star’s abusive behaviour towards her.

“I stood by him enduring his alcoholic misbehaviour in its worst phases and in turn I was at the receiving end of his abuse (verbal, physical and emotional), infidelity and indignity,” she said as quoted in the report.

She added: “That is why like any other self-respecting woman I ended my relationship with him.”

Coming back to the topic, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and the Ponniyin Selvan 1 team was to appear in Kapil Sharma’s show to promote the upcoming film.

Several netizens believed that the Devdas star did not come to the show because of Salman Khan’s involvement in its production. However, several social media users defended her by stating she had come for the promotion of the film Jazbaa.

“I remember she didn’t even go to KBC to promote ActionReplay with Akshay as money was going to Salman’s charity. And they came up with an excuse that family members aren’t allowed in the show,” a user wrote.

Pakistan plans to transform optical fiber cable network into global digital gateway

ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Dr Umar Saif on Wednesday said that the government had finalized a plan to transform Pakistan’s optical fiber cable network into a global digital gateway. The implementation of the proposed project would benefit Pakistan by millions of dollars, he disclosed while speaking in a high-level meeting. The meeting was attended by representatives of key organizations, including the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), Special Communication Organization, Pakistan Telecommunication Company Ltd (PTCL), TransWorld, and CyberNet. Progress made on Pakistan-Iran gas pipeline project

ISLAMABAD: Progress was made on Pakistan and Iran gas pipeline project as both countries agreed on reviving the stalled cooperation and formal contacts will be started within a few weeks. It is pertinent to mention here that Iran gave Pakistan time until September 2024 to complete the project, otherwise, it may move to international arbitration for the breach of contract. Senator Muhammad Abdul Qadir, the Chairman of the Senate’s Standing Committee on Petroleum said that both sides will start formal contacts for the gas pipeline project within two to three weeks. The Pakistan-Iran gas pipeline project has faced many delays due to the risk of US sanctions on Iran. The project remains substantially delayed.
