The CCTV camera caught the terrifying moment of a collision between a car and a motorcycle due to caved-in road in Bengaluru’s Yelahanka area in India.

It showed a car driver trying to avoid the caved-in part of the road which led him to collide with a motorcyclist.

A 24-year-old man was killed in the horrific road accident that took place on Saturday night.

According to Indian media, a sanitary pipe was installed a year back and thereafter the road had been laid down. The road has caved in due to the negligence of the contractors and the use of poor work materials.

The deceased man was identified as Arshad, 24, a resident of Kerala. The video showed the car overturning on the road after the collision.

The motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries, whereas, the pillion rider also suffered wounds and was shifted to the hospital for further treatment.

Pakistan plans to transform optical fiber cable network into global digital gateway

ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Dr Umar Saif on Wednesday said that the government had finalized a plan to transform Pakistan’s optical fiber cable network into a global digital gateway. The implementation of the proposed project would benefit Pakistan by millions of dollars, he disclosed while speaking in a high-level meeting. The meeting was attended by representatives of key organizations, including the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), Special Communication Organization, Pakistan Telecommunication Company Ltd (PTCL), TransWorld, and CyberNet. He said that all the necessary resources and facilities had been provided for the digital gateway initiative. Progress made on Pakistan-Iran gas pipeline project

ISLAMABAD: Progress was made on Pakistan and Iran gas pipeline project as both countries agreed on reviving the stalled cooperation and formal contacts will be started within a few weeks. It is pertinent to mention here that Iran gave Pakistan time until September 2024 to complete the project, otherwise, it may move to international arbitration for the breach of contract. Senator Muhammad Abdul Qadir, the Chairman of the Senate’s Standing Committee on Petroleum said that both sides will start formal contacts for the gas pipeline project within two to three weeks. The Pakistan-Iran gas pipeline project has faced many delays due to the risk of US sanctions on Iran. The project remains substantially delayed.
