SARGODHA: A deserving woman gave birth on a railway line while walking towards the hospital in Sargodha, ARY News reported on Sunday.

A deserving woman was walking towards the hospital but she could no more bear labour pains near a railway line. A citizen immediately called Rescue 1122 after witnessing the woman’s deteriorated situation.

The woman’s condition got critical when a Rescue 1122 team rushed to the scene. The woman gave birth at a railway line with the help of women officials of the Rescue 1122.

After the delivery, the woman and infant were immediately shifted to the hospital.

Karachi police to probe DIG Azfar Mahesar’s son’s viral firing videos

KARACHI: Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hasan Lanjar ordered an inquiry after Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) East Azfar Mahesar’s son Asher’s aerial firing videos went viral on social media, ARY News reported. Earlier, video footage showed DIG Azfar Mahesar’s son brandishing different kinds of weapons and resorting to aerial firing in several videos posted on social media. Asher was seen in different locations, sometimes in a moving car, relentlessly conducting aerial firing. Speaking to ARY News, Lanjar said that he has ordered Karachi police to do a forensic examination of the videos and initiate action against DIG Mahesar if he is found guilty in the case. RAWALPINDI: Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza on Thursday visited Pakistan Navy War College Lahore and addressed the participants of the 53rd PN Staff Course. According to a press statement issued by the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR), the CJCSC expressed his views on the armed forces’ efforts in confronting the multifaceted conventional and non-conventional challenges. General Sahir Shamshad Mirza said that the Pakistan Navy has always fulfilled the expectations for the protection of maritime borders. “The Pakistan Navy has a proud history of bravery and sacrifices for the motherland,” the CJCSC added.
